WSJ: Apple to unveil Video iPod?
This morning’s Wall Street Journal includes an article claiming Apple might release a video iPod next week. Earlier, the Journal reported Apple had started discussions with record companies about selling music videos for $1.99.
Some podcasters have been using the podcasting feature in iTunes and the podcast directory to distribute videos, but they have largely included only instructional videos.
It will be interesting to see if Apple goes this route, since what might follow is distribution of other sorts of video content — not just music videos.
