Given Apple’s direction toward a digital entertainment company, I wonder if they’ll consider this sort of move in the future. Apple’s had numerous opportunities throughout its corporate life to de-couple their operating system and software from the hardware – and they’ve never done it. We’re probably better off having one company that controls everything in making a personal computer, because they can do it right.

He tells a story about learning persistence from Vinod Khosla that resonates deep. Churchill said it best (“never ever ever give up”), but Joe tells it in a way that really sinks in.
