CherryOS - Mac OS X … for Intel-based PCs

Bravo to Maui X-Stream: they’ve apparently developed a G4 emulator for Windows machines they call CherryOS. If you want to run Mac OS X on your PC, you need this.

Given Apple’s direction toward a digital entertainment company, I wonder if they’ll consider this sort of move in the future. Apple’s had numerous opportunities throughout its corporate life to de-couple their operating system and software from the hardware - and they’ve never done it. We’re probably better off having one company that controls everything in making a personal computer, because they can do it right.

“Unemcumbered by reality”

It’s been awhile.

Linking through the blogosphere, I ran into this great new entrepreneur blog by Joe Kraus, one of the founders of Excite. He tells a story about learning persistence from Vinod Khosla that resonates deep. Churchill said it best (“never ever ever give up”), but Joe tells it in a way that really sinks in.
