Indian Outsourcing
Indian outsourcing is getting alot of airtime these days, but usually only in the context of software engineering. The other day I was walking through my complex and found this other Indian export business: 
. Amazing to see the City of San Diego outsourcing its manhole covers to the subcontinent.

India has a near monopoly on manhole covers — they’re all over NYC as well. I think it’s from the metal they recover from the large ships that are sent there for dismantling.
